FRENCH HAVANE OCHER
Golden-orange, slightly brownish; mined in France. Prehistoric natural earth, ocher, trace minerals, but not by this name. Used for Medieval mettere d’oro (gilded effect). Lightfast, mixes with all mediums and pigments.
AKA: Havana orange, French ocher [Fr] ocre Havane.
