This is a 2 oz container with approximately 15 grams of pigment.
In Armenia, this color has been used for centuries, but only recently released to the rest of the world. Tests show that it is color stable and mixes well with all mediums and pigments. It is transparent, has good lightfastness and tinting strength, and lifts well as a watercolor. Needs extra grinding, especially for oil paints. Our color tester says — and we agree — that this is a true grey; it doesn’t appear brown at all. Similar to Roman Black and Tuff Black. Interesting muted green when mixed with Canary Yellow.
